Bilan : A CONSEILLER !!!!
And now In English!! :))
Jamie and Claire Fraser, Ian, William, Brianna, Roger, Lord John, Fergus, Marsala ..... and all our favorite heroes of "The echo of distant hearts are again with us. Two characters are added to the story , which is no lack of character or personality: Dr. Hunter and her sister Rachel (much appreciated by Ian and William), Quakers who despite their love of God and their rejection of violence are faced with the horrors of war without mercy. This war between the English royal troops and separatist Americans and Jaimie Claire delays en route to Scotland. The brave survivor of Culloden took up arms again, forcing Claire to follow him closely with his knife.
After many adventures they arrived in Lallybroch, accompanied by Ian wanted for murder, is seen as a blessing. In fact Jenny's husband, Ian, is dying. Yet Claire will soon return to America with Ian, leaving many details Jaimie set with her sister. In these troubled times, their separation is not likely as not to be final ?....... outstanding!
Fate spared no Brianna and Roger in the twentieth century must save their son from the clutches of a dangerous character, too, "time travel" ...
My opinion: You can imagine that the admiration I have for the author is at the height of pleasure that I took to read this book. As always, Diana Gabaldon takes us into his world, we would like an iron fist and we are continuously met in the last line.
Historical references as numerous as ever, accurate and interesting, and this requires us to forgive him over time, too long interval between the publication of different volumes. These references are worked in a scientific way is STRICT! and I love it!
Also how can we not love a book which mentions the name of the father of OUR country: P. PAOLI who named the city of Pennsylvania.
